New Features |
1. Centre - Centre Options - Emails
If you are using Infocare to email invoices, statements, letters etc to parents, you will now need to configure your email details in the Centre Options screen. This has become necessary because of the way some of the Internet Service providers detect spam email.
You will need to enter your name, your email address, your Outgoing mail server (SMTP), Outgoing server port number (SMTP), your email username, your email password, and indicate if your email server uses a secure connection or not. If you do not know this information, you can find it out from your ISP or email service provider.
Please note that you will be unable to use the email facility until this has been set up correctly
2. Notice Board
The notice board when you log in will now display a reminder that a teacher's registration is expiring two months in advance, and also a week before the expiry date. This is also done for provisional registration expiry, first aid expiry and police check expiry.
Children and staff notices are now displayed separately to avoid confusion.
3. Bank Account Numbers
All bank account numbers that are stored in Infocare may now have either a three digit or a two digit suffix.
4. Children - Modify
The postal code on the child update screen is no longer mandatory, however users should be aware that New Zealand Post will not guarantee delivery of mail that does not include the new post code.
1. Centre - Centre Options - Rooms
For those centres that separate children into rooms and wish to create sign in sheets, reports etc based on those rooms, we have added a new facility where you can define up to 8 rooms in the centre options.
Once the rooms have been entered, you will be able to assign children to the various rooms on their "Timetable Update" screens. This provides users with the ability to automatically move children from one room to another on a specified date by assigning a new timetable and specifying the new room on the required date.
2. Children - Timetable
On the child's timetable you may now specify a "room". Using this you can now split your centre into individual rooms, and produce reports such as the Daily Sign In sheets based on the room. Previously some users have been using the "categories" to achieve this, but they were unable to specify the new room in advance.
Using the new facility, you can now automatically move children from one room to another on a specified date by assigning a new timetable and specifying the new room on the required date.
3. Child Reports - Roll Forecast
The roll forecast report can now be run for a specified room, and roll projections will be printed for that room for the specified period.
