Infocare version 3.11 provides exciting new features and enhancements for many of the system functions, and includes support for our new InfoOnTheGo App.

Save hours of admin and tons of paper
The regulations around running a childcare are a minefield of bureaucracy
and paper trails, but now you can say goodbye to much of the paper-based
requirements with the InfoOnTheGo mobile app from Infocare.
Available for both iOS and Android platforms, InfoOnTheGo is free to
download from the App Store and Google Play. If you are an Infocare
customer, all you need is a mobile device (phone or tablet).
Using your mobile device, users can update sleep charts, record nappy and
toileting details, update meal charts, perform roll calls and more.
All the recorded information is sent to Infocare and can be accessed for
reporting by the centre or by parents (for their child only) if you are
using the Infocare Parent Portal.

2. Change Password - All users are now able to change their own passwords at any time using "Common/Change Password". Password rules remain the same - at least 6 characters 2 of which need to be numeric.
3. Employee Update - When updating employee registration details under "Employees/Modify", it is now possible to record up to 5 different registration periods, and the "Date of Final Year of ECE Qualification."
4. Ratio View - The Ratio View screens now show the "50% Regulation". This is highlighted in red if your centre falls below the 50% threshold at any time of the day. Teachers counted in ratio for this are only those who are ECE qualified (whether registered or not) or 1 teacher in their final year of an ECE degree.
5. Targeted Funding - Under Billing, Accounts Processing, Receipts, there is a new payment type of "targeted Funding". This is to facilitate those centres who receive targeted funding from MoE and allocate this to specific children in lieu of parent payments. MoE require records of where targeted funding is spent.
6. Funding Hours Report - We have added "discretionary Hours" in the total table at the end of the report. This report also now displays the number of registered hours required to reach the 80% threshold.
7. Reports - Group Reports - General - Print Mode - Centre Based Attended Hours - This report now includes a column called "Extra" which shows any additional hours the child has attended from their booked times.
8. Reports - Child Reports - Child Details Report - this report now shows hours in time format i.e. 2H20M instead of in decimal format.
9. Reports - Child Reports - Roll Reports - On the Roll Reports selection screen, we have added a check box "include Scheduled Away". Use this check box if you wish the reports to include children who are scheduled to be away.
10. Children - Timetable - Holidays - The Holiday Update screen will now prevent users from marking children in advance as "holiday, Absent or School Visit" when the centre calendar is set to closed for that day.
11. Children- Timetable - The Timetable view screen now has an "email" button. For those parents where you have selected 'Email Other" in the Contact Details screen, this button enables you to send an email to the parents containing a link to the child's timetable. The parents can then print the timetable attestation form, sign it and hand it in to your centre.
12. Children - Contacts - We have added "Print" and "Email" buttons for each contact. The Print button can be used to print details for the contact so they can verify that details are correct. The Email button send the contact an email which asks them to contact your service if any of the details are not correct.
13. Reports - Staff Reports - Time Summary - This report now displays each day individually so that it can be used for payroll input. We have also added a column with the heading "Worked". The Worked column is a total of all the hours that a staff member is not away i.e. contact non-contact etc.
14. Reports - Child Reports - Roll Analysis - By default, the "Bookings" radio button is now checked.
15. Children - Timetable - Modify/add - The timetable update screen now displays the child's name, birth date and age. This is to assist in determining when the child will turn 3.
16. Utilities - InfoOnTheGo - This new feature allows users to see information that has been sent to Infocare from the infoOnTheGo App regarding childrens' sleep history, meal history, toileting history and roll call history. Users can also add new information or modify information that is already stored.
For those services that use the Infocare Parent Portal module, this information is available to parents/caregivers on the Parent Portal for their child.

17. Children - History - the Child history now allows you to select, attendance data, sleep history data, meal history data, or toileting history.
18. Centre - Centre Calendar - an option of "service Open - Holiday Period With No Attendance" has been added to the options on the drop down list for each day. Ministry of Education have added this category which is to be used if your service is open over a public holiday, but no children attended.
19. Reports - Child Reports - Sign In Sheets - When updating sign in sheets, if your centre calendar is set to "Emergency Close", or "Service Open - Holiday Period With No Attendance", MoE requires that all children are marked as absent.
20. Employees - We have added an "order" drop down list so that users can sort the list of employees by first name. reverse order first name, last name or reverse order last name.
21. Utilities - Search - The names of Children or staff displayed as a search result are now shown as a link. Users can click on the link which will take you to the child or staff members record.
22. Centre - Users - Modify/Add - You are now able to select "Discount Yes/No". This setting will determine if the user is able to apply discounts on a child's timetable or not.
23. Centre - Users - Modify/Add - Yoa are now able to specify if a user has access to the InfoOnTheGo App or not.
